Supported costs

  • Professional service costs
  • Certification & testing costs – Conformity assessment body should be accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) or an internationally recognised accreditation body (listed in ILAC MRA / IAF MRA / APAC MRA)

Non-supported costs

Include but are not limited to:

  • Certification & testing costs for surveillance and renewal after first year certification & testing
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • Software costs

Company eligibility

Check your company’s eligibility on BusinessSG.

Business entity must:

  • Be registered and operating in Singapore
  • Have at least 30% Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s) ownership (direct or indirect), determined by the ultimate individual ownership
  • Must not have previously applied for grant support for the same standard, regardless of the standard’s version
  • Must not have started work or have made any payment or deposit to a supplier, vendor, or third party prior to application submission

Project deliverables

At the end of the project, submit the relevant supporting documents:

  1. Report demonstrating the extent of capability building achieved (including training records, if any) and benefits realised from standards adoption
  2. Accredited certificate, testing or compliance reports issued by a third-party conformity assessment body accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) or an internationally recognised accreditation body (listed in ILAC MRA/IAF MRA/ APAC MRA)

Application documents and information required

  1. Vendor's proposal, quotation, and SS 680 certification
  2. Third-party conformity assessment body's quotation
  3. Assessment body's certification
  4. Projection of expected revenue growth as a result of project, for 1 year after project completion
  5. Projection of new jobs created (overall and Singaporeans only) with gross monthly salary above S$5,000 for 1 year after project completion

How to apply

Starting your application

Step 1: Prepare your documents

Ensure you have all documents listed under the "Application documents and information required" section ready before you begin.

Step 2: Select a suitable vendor(s) where applicable

Identify suitable vendor(s) for the intended activity before submitting your application.

Step 3: Apply on Business Grants Portal (BGP)

Sign in to your Corppass account to apply on BGP portal. If you do not have a Corppass account, sign up and refer to this guide for help. You can track the status of your application under "My Grants" on BGP. Clarifications may be requested via BGP, and you may refer to the FAQ page on how to resubmit clarifications for ongoing applications.

Step 4: Receive your Letter of Offer

If the application is supported, you will receive a Letter of Offer (LOF), which you will need to accept within the specified timeline. The LOF will include the following details:

  • Conditions of support
  • Grant amount awarded
  • Project qualifying period
  • Project deliverables
